Water Restoration Service Technician

First year water restoration technicians can expect to earn between $40,000 and $60,000. Pay increases quickly year after year as you gain experience.

• Arrive at customer site as scheduled.
• Inspect site and present solutions to the customer.
• As part of a crew, you'll remove floodwater using pumps and specialized equipment.
• Help crew remove damaged furniture, flooring and wall board.
• Position specialized equipment to dry affected areas.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Complete the project in the established time frame.
• Ensure the project is complete to the customer's satisfaction.
• Locates and arrives at job sites in a timely manner; safely drives and operates service vehicle between job sites.

• A valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Prior water restoration experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excavation technicians are paid an hourly rate of $17.00 to $20.00 during training.  After training, an excavation technician will be paid per a daily job rate ranging from $255 to $391.  They are guaranteed to be paid an hourly rate at or above the minimum wage for all hours worked. The hourly pay rate may vary, depending on whether the pay is for base pay paid at the employee’s base hourly rate (minimum wage), or administrative pay for administrative hours worked (between minimum wage and $47.26).
