Plumbing Manager

Our Boston South branch, located in Stoughton, MA has an opportunity for a Plumbing Manager. The salary range for this position is $125,000-$145,000 a year, depending on experience. You must have a MA plumbers license to be considered for this position. There is also opportunity for an overall branch business performance based bonus. The Plumbing Manager’s main priority is increasing production levels of plumbers and ensuring that proper profit margins are maintained. This candidate will also conducts coaching and counseling sessions to increase sales,customer service and technical expertise. The Plumbing Manager will also performs plumber/service technician ride-alongs to evaluate and reinforce skills. This position will also work with the management team at the branch to reduce turnover, workers compensation claims and customer complaints.
As our PLUMBING MANAGER, your responsibilities will include:
Manage, coach, and mentor a team of service professionals to provide quality plumbing service to all customers.
Ensure adherence to state plumbing guidelines.
Follow up with customers from leads provided by field service technicians.
Identify bid opportunities, prepare bid packages, and provide estimates for jobs.
Prevent or handle customer issues.
Develop additional business opportunities by offering Roto-Rooter’s preventative maintenance and priority care programs.
Conduct work-site reviews to ensure safety measures are utilized.
Monitor your team’s performance standards weekly. Meet with team to review and determine areas where additional coaching and training is needed.
Accompany plumbers to customer sites to observe performance and provide coaching & training in various aspects including customer service, sales to include offering additional products and services, building commercial customer base, and safety/OSHA requirements.
