Drain Service Technician - Evening and Weekend shift only

We have an opportunity for a Drain Service Technician at our Cincinnati branch.  The average income for this position will be $60,000-$75,000 on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.  This position is for evenings and weekends only.  Standard shifts begin at 4pm. Service van will be provided for this position.

Roto-Rooter provides an initial 6 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumber’s license. 

• Roto-Rooter drain service technicians use their skills to provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
• A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing cost estimates to close the sale.
• Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
• Collect payment and move on to the next service call. 

• A valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication skills.
• A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.
